Why book us?
Highlight Discos offer a reliable and professional service. With an experienced DJ, professional equipment and friendly approach we aim to always provide our clients with an event to remember.
What type of events are covered?
Here at Highlight Discos the DJ is happy to provide entertainment for all types of events - Weddings, Birthdays, Engagements, Proms, Anniversaries, Corporate, Dinner/Dance,Christmas Parties etc.
What type of music?
We have an extensive database of music ranging from 1940's, 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's through to the present day chart hits.
Do you accept requests?
Highlight Discos will always endeavour to accommodate peoples requests where practical. Occasionally the DJ may make a rare decision not to play a particular track if he feels this could jeopardize the party atmosphere at that current time. In other words for example "Iron Maiden" may not be appropriate while your Great Aunt is enjoying dancing to the "twist".
How long does it take to set up equipment?
The DJ will require at least one hour (2 Hour's for Video Disco) before the start of your event to set up equipment, check sound levels, lights and make sure everything is 100% right for your party.
Can the DJ make announcements, play background music during a meal or provide microphones for speeches?
Your occasion is very important to Highlight Discos. We understand each client has a different set of requirements and that each venue and situation will differ. Customers can request prior to the events any special music, announcements, venue specifications etc. We are always flexible and happy to oblige wherever practical.
How early should I book?
Highlight Discos recommends booking as early as possible. The DJ becomes very busy especially during the busy Christmas and Summer Wedding period.
Will I need to pay a deposit?
You will need to pay a small £50 deposit (£100 for Video Disco) in order to secure your event.
